The purpose of the Maine Fiber Farms area is to provide a venue for family farms to market goods produced on their farms from animals they raise, as well as to educate the public about the connections between the animals and their products..

Application Process

STEP ONE - Read Guidelines
Before completing your application, read and familiarize yourself with the Fair and Maine Fiber Farms Area Guidelines. Even if you are a returning vendor, there are updates for 2019, so be sure to read these.

STEP TWO - Complete the Maine Fiber Farms Vendor Application below.
Required information to complete a booth application includes: 

  • A description of your work and the products you wish to sell at the Common Ground Country Fair.

  • Booth size and location preference. All Maine Fiber Farms booths are located inside a tent. There is no electricity available for the Maine Fiber Farms area. 

STEP THREE - Submit Application with $10.00 Application Fee

All applications require a $10.00 application fee per booth. You may submit payment online with your application or mail a check. Applications will not be considered until payment is received.

Booth Types/Sizes:

  • Tent 10' x 12' = $270
  • Tent 10' x 12' x 12' Corner = $307
  • Tent 15' x 12' = $395
  • Tent 15' x 12' x 12' Corner = $430

A note on Agricultural Products, Fiber Marketplace, and Main Fiber Farms: 

The Agricultural ProductsFiber Marketplace, and Maine Fiber Farms areas at the Common Ground Country Fair provide fairgoers access to Maine-based products, agricultural services, and equipment.

  • The Agricultural Products area presents and promotes family farms selling agricultural products and suppliers of products used in agricultural production. This is also a venue for non-farm businesses with agricultural interests.
  • The Fiber Marketplace provides an outlet for businesses that cater to, and contribute to the sustainability of, small fiber farms and the work of individual fiber artists, craftspeople, and cottage industries by providing products, services and equipment.
  • The Maine Fiber Farms Area is to provides a venue for family farms to market goods produced on their farms from animals they raise, as well as to educate the public about the connections between the animals and their products. Vendors are encouraged to bring livestock to educate fairgoers.

All vendors, exhibitors, and speakers must read and agree to the Common Ground Country Fair Guidelines. Please read before submitting the application. 

Application deadline is May 15, 2019.

Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling, space available basis.
